Cook time: 60 minutes Total time: 1 hour 10 minutes Servings: 6 Ingredients: 2 9 inch pie crusts 1 1/2- 2 lbs ground pork 1/2 large onion, diced 1 large yellow potato, diced 1 tsp minced garlic 2 tbsp grass fed butter, divided 1/2 tsp sage 1/2 tsp rosemary 1/4 tsp clove 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp pepper Instructions: 1. preheat oven to 350 2. in a medium pan on medium heat, heat 1 tbsp butter, add onion, garlic and potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes 3. lightly mash the potato with the fork until they become like a chunky mash* 4. add spices and pork, breaking the pork into small pieces** 5. add first crust into 9 inch pie pan and fill with pie mixture, top with second pie crust ventilating top layer with holes or slits 6. melt the remaining 1 tbsp of butter and spread on top of pie crust 7. bake for 40-45 minutes until crust is crispy 8. top with bread and butter pickles and enjoy! *this part is important as it helps hold the pie together ** If you have trouble with it you can move it to a food processor and gently pulse to break into smaller pieces
