Cook time: 30 minutes Total time: 35 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 1 1/4 C chicken broth 1 tbsp grass fed butter 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 onion, diced 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp sea salt 1 1/2 tsp dried basil 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes 1 bay leaf 2/3 C whole milk Instructions: 1. in a medium pot on medium heat, melt butter and saute garlic and onions until onions become translucent 2. add broth, spices, bay leaf, and tomatoes. Bring to a soft boil for about 15-20 minutes 3. reduce heat to low and remove bay leaf. Using an emulsion blender or moving to a food processor puree the soup until desired consistency is reached 4. add the milk and stir gently until well combined, then serve
