First, I'm not totally convinced this title makes grammatical sense, but nothing sounded right so I went with this. I received quite a bit of interest on how to quit coffee. So I am sharing some of the tools I used to implement this dramatic change in my life in hopes they help you too. Below I am providing 5 tips to help you quit coffee, and some of the products and brands I use so you can try them out too!

1.Start decreasing your caffeine load by making or ordering your coffee ½ decaf, ½ regular. Doing this for a few weeks can help wean you off the caffeine dependency. Once your there then only order decaf, then order coffee every other day, and so on until you only are having it on occasion and are not dependent on it.

2.Switch up your coffee with matcha!Matcha green tea is my absolute favorite and it makes a great latte with almond milk. It still has caffeine but the hit doesn't give you such a strong case of the jitters, plus it’s loaded with antioxidants which are great for your overall health.

3.Use Dandelion tea. Dandy blend is an absolute favorite of mine and has a similar bitter taste like coffee. It dissolves in water and blends well with milk. It's a loose powder but you can also opt for a dandelion tea bag.

4. Try Mushroom coffee!Similar to Dandy blend, mushroom comes in powder form. They do have some with caffeine in them if you are still looking for that kick  of energy or you can opt for a caffeine free variety. I personally love the Reishi which is caffeine free and also great if you experience occasional anxiety.

5.Rest!Stop neglecting sleep and try to get to bed earlier. Set up a night time routine that includes a relaxing cup of caffeine free tea and turn of electronics. Aim for at least 8 hours each night.
